When you visit your local rugby club at the weekend and your life-long friends are talking about events at your school, then you know something special has happened.
It is not often that discussion of a weather balloon, live tracking or indeed a picture in space of a Welsh Language Icon features over a bar, but that is indeed the impact of the Rolls-Royce Science Prize here at Ysgol Caereinion.
Turn the clock back to earlier in the week and the arrival of a film crew to record the effect of the project within the school community and then at the end of the week, the launch of the weather balloon. Both sessions have helped bring STEM to life and helped engage with the community both inside and outside of the school gates.
There is a vibrancy to the project, the like I have never witnessed at a whole school level. The project is making a huge difference to our learners, it is engaging, motivating and educating!
