OASIS (Our Advice Shop in School) is a Princess Diana award winning scheme offering peer support to students in years 7, 8 & 9.  It’s organised by Helen Coleby, Youth Woker along with pupils in year 11.

Due to the OASIS group’s success over the past year and due to their input with Healthy Schools, the group were invited to attend the Healthy Schools development day at Llanfyllin High school.  This gave them the opportunity to share their success and achievements with other high schools in Powys. 12 members of the OASIS group attended the afternoon session and explained all the work they’d completed over the past year. The OASIS team are currently working on a project with ‘Fixers’ on the topic ‘Fitting in’ when starting high school.
