DECEMBER 21ST, 2018

The Autumn term came to an end with a number of festive activities. The last day of term was a non-uniform day, with many wearing Christmas jumpers. There was an opportunity at the start of the day to recognise those pupils who had not lost any behaviour points. Hot chocolate and light refreshments were prepared for those pupils. It was encouraging to see the canteen full of pupils enjoying themselves. Thank you to Mr Ed Baldwin, Mrs Sarah May, Mrs Anwen Evans a Mr Sam Andrew for organising this event. The day came to an end with a Christmas assembly. I am grateful to Sixth Form students under the guidance of Mr Pryderi Jones and the musicians under Mr Osian Davies’ leadership for preparing a very fitting end to the term.

This will be my last blog, as I shall be leaving Caereinion at the end of this month and beginning on a new career in January. As I leave the school, I would like to thank everyone for their support and assistance during the last years and I wish my successor, Mr Phillip Jones, all the very best as the new Headteacher of the school.

I wish you all a peaceful Christmas and a Happy New Year.
